Clare has had photography & design work published in National Newspapers and Magazines.
Having also undertaken freelance photography work over the past 7 years, Clare has a wide range of experience covering Events, Press, Studio, Fashion, Architecture, Celebrities, Weddings, PR, Performance & Music Photography.
Clients include: All Bar One, Citizen's Advice Bureau, Samsung, Hallmark Healthcare, George Wimpey Homes,
Clare uses the latest digital Nikon camera equipment and design software including: Adobe Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5 and InDesign CS5. Clare is always keen to develop her creative skills and recently did an Adobe InDesign CS5 computer course.
On the design side of things, Clare has worked on magazine illustrations, exhibition design including brochure, leaflet, banner & logo design - Check out her most recent design commission further down the page (Look at Me! Project).
While Clare enjoyed the huge variety and diverse challenges of newspaper photography as well as managing a busy photographic department, she is now looking for new opportunities in south east England

Project Title: Look At Me! Images of women & ageing
Design Brief: To design publicity material (flyer's) project branding (logo) exhibition graphics (banners) and retouch photographs ready for print
What's it all about: The research project aims to harness the power of the creative arts to transform the way society views older women. Participants will explore how women are represented in the media ( newspapers, magazines, television) and society as they grow older. Through a series of visual media workshops including photographic, art therapy and video techniques participants will create new and alternative images of women and ageing
Project funded by: Department of Sociological Studies - The University Sheffield
Freelance work duration: Nov 2010 - Feb 2011 (followed by an exhibition in March 2011)
